Although Herbal Medicine and nutritional support is an effective adjunct therapy, these should not be confused with the services of, or pharmaceutical preparations prescribed by, a trained medical practitioner/veterinarian Frazzled Warmblood Gelding Over the past 3 years, Linda has been helping my horses (and me) with a range of issues of both body and mind. In all cases, her individual mixes have been very well prescribed, achieving good results over short treatment periods. Most recently, she helped me greatly with my lovely, rather stressed and frayed warmblood gelding, supporting my retraining efforts with a nerve tonic for him to which he responded positively within a couple of weeks. Thank you, Linda. You are always a pleasure to work with: kind, caring and knowledgeable. Your service is excellent. Connie Bachor, EFA Judge, Wamboin NSW ___________________ Allergic Rhinitis (Sinus condition) Kurri’s Memory (11yr. Appoloosa x Warmblood Mare)When being ridden she was having trouble clearing her airways and would extend her neck out and upwards like as if she was trumpeting like an elephant. She appeared to get worse during change of season or if cold and wet out. She would have a clear thin discharge from her nostrils. After the herbal mix, she is clearing her airways normally by stretching her head and neck lower. Thank for your help. Susan Plath, Buxton, NSW |

___________________ Leaky Gut / Severe Digestive Disorder 2005 Youth Olympics Gold Medal Winner – Team and Individual events " Our show jumping mare Margarita (“Effie”) is recovering from a severe paddock accident and was not eating well or drinking much, we were very worried and her health was degenerating quickly. We decided to try The Natural Care Company's Gut Support mixture specially formulated for “Effie” and since then she has picked up considerably. Our horse is eating and drinking very well and regained her weight and condition quickly. Effie is now well on the way to a full recovery. We have been using the Naturalcare Company’s leg gels and muscle wash for the last 12 months. We have found them to be very effective and the use of the products is a part of our Daily stable routine. We have found the gels beneficial after a hard training session or competition and as they are easy to apply there is no wastage and this makes them economical to use. The Skin Soothe Gel is especially good for mild clipper rashes, there is always a tub on hand! We have been very pleased with the results and would certainly recommend them to others looking for an easy to apply effective gel/wash. Sue & Jamie Coman, World Cup (& Olympic) Riders & Coaches. “Mooney” (Moonlight Sonata) Dear Linda, Rachel and I are absolutely delighted with the progress Mooney has made since commencing her herbal supplement. We started off with a beautiful mare with loads of potential and ability. Sadly, we were unable to relax with her in the company of other horses as she would show moody, aggressive behaviour. Even though we had regular chiropractic checkups, there also seemed to be issues with a sore back which caused pigrooting. Mooney would kick out at other horses in pony club or show line ups and pairing with other horses was completely out of the question. Rachel could not relax with her as we were always worried she would hurt another horse or official. There were often tears of disappointment and frustration. As a mum it was very disappointing to see Rachel struggle to manage this behaviour and her enjoyment of her horse being compromised. I am happy to tell you that after a short time on her herbal supplement, we have a new Mooney! Rachel can now compete on her pony with complete confidence.
We no longer put a red ribbon in her tail and have had a wonderful time competing in pony club and inter-school events, including pair of riders classes. I now see a relaxed, comfortable mare and big smiles on my daughter Rachel as she now gets so much enjoyment out of her pony. I have enclosed photos of Mooney and Rachel riding at the recent Australia Day Parade. This was a fabulous test for Mooney who paraded in close proximity with other sometimes nervous horses, complete with vintage cars, marching bands and noisy crowds waving flags. We would never have considered being involved in an event such as this prior to starting treatment. Mooney did not put a foot wrong! Thank you so much for all your practical help and advice. We can all now relax and enjoy ourselves with the pony we love so much. kind Regards, Rachel and Jenny Wotherspoon, Bulee Park, Equine Lodgings, Colo Vale NSW ___________________ |

I have a 17 year old pure Spanish Andalusian mare I was having a great deal of trouble getting her in foal. I read about Naturalcare in "Horse Deals" magazine and decided to give it ago. I was given a two month supply of herbal preparation, Seleniumplus and Megaboost. The problem I was having was that, she wasn't expelling the bad bacteria when my stallion was serving her, consequently the sperm was being destroyed by her fluid. We orally syringed Connie with 10mls of Seleniumplus and 20 mls of herbal preparation twice a day for two months. |
||||
|
The mega boost helped her immune system whilst she dealing with the after effects of equine influenza After Connie had recovered from E.I and finished her 2 month treatment we served her 3 times over a 48 hour period and put her out in the paddock for 21 days. After the 21 days she was pregnancy tested and she was finally positive!. She is due in November 2008. Thanks for your help. Lisa "Imperio Spanish Horse Stud" ___________________

Sesamoid Injury After my FEI level Dressage Horse sustained a major injury to his near side sesamoid bone, I was devastated at the thought of not being able to compete him again. I turned to Linda and Rebecca who advised me on the best way to naturally treat the problem. With their accurate and caring advice, and wide range of products, they recommended the perfect mix to get Faust and I back into the competition arena, much sooner than expected! He now will continue to perform at his best, plus look his best thanks to their continued help. kind Regards, Verity Spargo & APH Faust _________________ |

"Rosie" & Romany - Interschools |
A Happy, Fun & "Chilled Out" Partnership Hi Linda, Things are going very well with Romany and Rosie. They have entered two competitions now and won quite a few ribbons but more importantly had stress free outings for horse, rider and Mum. As you can see from the pics, when we bought Rosie she was in very poor condition and had no hair on her head or legs, now she is glowing with health and looks happy and relaxed- and so does Romany! People can't believe she is the same horse, and I credit your wonderful preparations for relaxing and calming Rosie and allowing Romany to have some great confidence building time. Rosie is now just having the Selenium mix daily and the anxious pony mix a couple of days before pony club and competitions. Thank you. Susan, Romany & "Rosie" - Altherton, QLD

Pain and Joint degeneration "My Meknes and I have just completed our second "MS Holiday on Horseback" and what a wonderful time we had. It was much more special this year as a couple of months after last year's ride Mekkie's slight joint degeneration blew out to very severe ringbone - I thought he would not be able to be ridden again! Thanks to Linda's program of treatment he did recover and stood up well to the fairly heavy training schedule I felt he needed. Rebecca's massages were also a great help in getting him going again after the long break. Mekkie managed the ride effortlessly - more than 150kms over 6 days and on the last day as sound as the first. I am now daring to hope that with |

Linda and Rebecca's support he just might be able to do it again next year - he's 19 now but he's such a special boy I can't imagine I could do it with any other horse. I dread the thought of having to retire him just yet. Thank you Linda and Rebecca for taking away his pain and allowing us a few more miles together." Karen Wilson, Tarlo "Thanks so much Linda and Rebecca for helping me prepare Celle for the MS Fundraiser Ride. It was certainly a greater riding challenge than I've had before with 30km or so on each of the 6 days over very hilly, but stunningly beautiful, country side including some galloping and jumping over logs/ditches and of course some very slow & steady walking down all those hills! For a 10yo 'hobby' Warmblood dressage horse who had a torn tendon as a 5yo, I believe the herbal support in the lead-up, especially the tendon and bone mixes were really valuable to him. Without hills and with fairly limited time to prepare "fitness wise". I was really pleased that we had included the massages in his preparation... I'm sure this contributed to him pulling up so well!! tired of course but no injuries, no lameness, no stiffness. You're both on the list for our preparation team for next year's ride!! With appreciation and best wishes," Narelle Kennedy, Bringelly ___________________ |

Melanoma Treatment Support. My first horse, Morning Glory had an operation to remove a Melanoma in her Salivary Gland back in March 2005.When they operated they could not get all the tumour out and they had accidentally severed a nerve in her face during the operation. The left side of her face was paralysed to the point that she could not blink her eye and her lip was droopy. I was told that nothing could be done to help her any further and that the tumour would grow back very aggressively and kill her within 6 months .As for the nerve damage it would not improve and she would have trouble eating and would loose lots of weight. As the vet world could do nothing else for her and feeling that the horse was not her happy , playful self after so many drugs, anathestic etc. I wasn’t about to give up and just accept what the vets had |

told me, so I turned to Linda after remembering I had met her at a dressage show. Linda looked at Glory and set her on a course of tonics and natural products that lifted her spirit. The tonics have supported Glory during this difficult time. She has not lost weight and in 2 months after taking Linda’s tonics I was back riding her again and we are hoping to continue to participate in competitions again next year. ___________________ |

Windsucking Thoroughbred Ex-Galloper. My second horse, Lord Denning ("Denni"), was a windsucker after spending many boring years at the racing stables Linda found him to be suffering from an overstimulated nervous system, which could be causing the anxiety to windsuck. The tonics she gave Denni has worked wonders and he no longer windsucks and is working beautifully, So thank-you Linda for your wonderful work with my horses , you have made my life so much simpler and the future looks good for us. I have total faith in Linda and would recommend her treatment to anyone. Your faithfully, Julie Walker, Terrey Hills ___________________

Punctured Hock Sack/Fractured Sesamoid Bone I believe the treatment provided to my horse literally saved his life. Mon had a punctured hock sack and the vet's prognosis was grim...."I will be back to put him down." The horse would not allow me to administer the anti-biotics left by the vet. As a last resort I called Elementals Natural Care who provided me with a herbal remedy. When the vet return he was surprised at the favourable progress and Mon fully recovered from the injury. |

Since then, they treated him for nervous anxiety, fractured sesamoid bones and suspensory ligament issues all with great success. I also used a combination of acupressure treatment and Bach Flowers to prepare him for his first floating and first show also with great success.....he was reserve champion in his class. I now ride him in dressage tests and would not hesitate to recommend Rebecca & Linda, they are no longer my last resort. Karen Celona, Moorebank ___________________ |

SHAHANI - Arabian Mare EXTREMELY unfriendly, unpredictable and explosive. We never knew how long it would take to do anything, ie. load her to float to shows. Training often turned into a battle of wills taking hours to do simple tasks. After a few weeks of Linda's "magic" herbal medicine, she has become very sweet, enjoying the company of people, concentrating on her work and learning quickly. We no longer have "agreements" as she finds her work fun! Thanks to Linda's herbs there are no more moody tantrums or displays of stubbornness... Shahani is just a delight to be around. ___________________ |

Terrified and Mistreated TOBY - Shetland Pony Poor Toby was rescued from a tiny suburban back yard having lived there for over two years. He was terrified to the point of having to be lassoed to catch him and bring him home. We noticed he was terrified of people and horses alike. Toby was anxious, aloof and mistrusting of all around him. After a short course of acupressure and herbal remedies he is happy to play with the horses and interact (cuddle!!) with his human friends. Toby now more trusting, relaxed and happy. I am happy to say that it can only be due to his treatments supplied.. Thanks you for your help in giving me a loving children's pony. Thanks, Karen Anderson, "Temba Park" Pitt Town ___________________ |

Old Campaigner “Buddy” (Arthritic Gelding) Thank you for your help and advice regarding our horse. Thanks to your advice and Hawthorn, and Tumeric, “Buddy” is now off Butalone powder and has never looked better. Judging by his actions, never felt better either! He has gone from a horse that was lying down and could barely move with chronic arthritis to a horse that now chases my daughter for his feed and even throws in a couple of pigroots along the way for good measure. Thanks again. Kelly Tripp, Ourimbah ___________________

The Naturalcare Company helped my Grumpy Gelding!!! |

company or being touched including being groomed. To sum it up he seemed like a grumpy old man who was mad at the world. After meeting Linda at Camden Horse Trails and chatting about Tom we decided to try him on a “Chill” mix to see if we could help him see the “brighter side of life” and alleviate some of the more antisocial behaviours.I wasn’t really sure what to expect but within a couple of days I could start to see changes. The first thing I noticed was that he lost some of the “attitude”. He became pleasant to be around, grooming him and spending time with him on the ground became an enjoyable experience. After another couple of weeks, his attitude to other horses became noticeably different, he was no longer attempting to bite and in a lesson last week he actually approached another horse and nuzzled him where previously he has tried to bite this particular horse. Both my instructor and I are really pleased with the very noticeable difference in Tom and I am very glad I had that chat with Linda. I would recommend anyone who has similar issues with their horses have a chat with Linda at The Naturalcare Company. Leica Gilbert & “Thomas”, Annangrove, NSW ___________________ |

Kiesha – Mare Mix “Before I began using this it was very difficult to do alot with her she was edgy, stressed, flighty and very hard to ride, constantly bucking and jacking up. I have had her on Mare Mix for approximately 2 months and have noticed a significant difference both in handling her on the ground and riding her. I now have 16year old girls riding her at pony club, she is more relaxed and enjoyable. Thank you again for your help” Lyndal, Dressage/Showjumping, Sydney ___________________

Itchy Skin “Ellie” My mare Ellie was suffering from an itch which lasted January/February thru til October/November in increasing intensity over the past 15 years. The last couple of years (before I tried any herbal remedy) were very difficult and uncomfortable for her, and her quality of life was definitely diminished. She lived in a combo for most of that time, and still suffered. After contacting Linda, she was put on a regime which i would have to say made her life far more comfortable and kept the worst of the itch at bay for most of 2004. This year we were able to begin her treatment prior to her itch starting, and i am happy to say she is far, far improved, and a very much happier horse. She is now able to live in a normal rug with no neck rug, and is healthy and happy. Whilst her itch has not totally gone, she is well on the road to an "itch-free" life, and for the first time does not spend hours scraping herself raw on any available tree/post/ wall. I am grateful to Linda for her help and continuing care of Ellie, and the fantastic results we have had with her assistance. I hope Ellie lives to a ripe old age in order to enjoy the fruits of Linda's care, and the joys of an itch-free existence. Thanks Linda!!!!!!! Claire L., Thirlmere, NSW ___________________ |

Moody Mare "Katie" 12 year old Arabian Riding Mare She was unrideable in season (which seemed to be constantly!). She couldn't be ridden in company without kicking, biting and bolting back to the float at any opportunity. Her behaviour at shows was uncontrollable. Not a happy experience for all concerned. After a few weeks of herbal medicine (hormonal mix), Katie is now happly competiting, including pairs, even happy to be ridden bareback now! I am so delighted to now have a cooperative and willing pony, safe for my children to ride and enjoy! Kerrie Levy, Dural ___________________ |

Anxiety & Herbal Calming Hammer was very edgy, spooky, nervous and scared around people on the ground, and when you rode him he was even more scared of you, he would run away from your leg all the time, and it was very hard to teach him new things in dressage, he would just pop, and get very nervous and not listen. With jumping he was the same, as soon as he saw a jump, he would go very fast, and jump it, throw his head up, and then brace against the reins so you couldn't slow him down, all up, he was a psycho horse, and I was selling him due to that reason. |
||||
|
I was working with a professional trainer with him for 5 months, and we couldn't get passed his leg-on issue. then I heard about herb blends, so I tried them out, and within about a week, he was as calm as I had ever seen him, he was almost asleep on the ground, and wasn't spooking anymore with people, and when i rode him, he would listen, be responsive and calm, and was a lot easier to teach, and was a quick learner, even with jumping he would listen and slow down when you asked him to. He is a completely different horse now, calm, listens and completely non-psycho horse, without being a dead lump, still with impulsion. if it wasn't for the anxiety herbal blends, would not have my beautiful horse now, and probably not be riding, because he would have been sold, not knowing what his full potential was, and I wouldn't have found a better horse. Thankyou. Yasmin Munro and “Hammer”, Eventer of Box Hill
